YourGateway2Success is delighted to announce that we have been awarded £19,986 from The National Lottery Community Fund through the National Lottery Awards for All programme to deliver our new youth project, Gateway Forward.
Gateway Forward is an initiative that will support young people aged 16-25 in Croydon through a structured programme of mentoring, life skills support and positive activities. The project has been developed to help young people who may be feeling stuck, isolated, low in confidence, out of education or employment, or unsure about their next steps.
Through our project, young people will have access to practical and encouraging support in a safe and welcoming environment. Sessions will focus on areas such as confidence building, wellbeing, communication, decision-making, budgeting, personal development and employability. The project will also provide opportunities for young people to connect with positive peers, trusted adults and further support where needed.
This funding marks an important step forward for YourGateway2Success and will allow the organisation to expand its support for young people across Croydon at a time when many are facing increased pressure and uncertainty.

“We are incredibly grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund and to National Lottery players for making this possible. Gateway Forward will give young people in Croydon access to practical support, encouragement and opportunities that can help them grow in confidence and move forward more positively in their lives. We are excited to begin this journey and to see the difference the project will make.”
Gateway Forward builds on YourGateway2Success’s wider mission to empower young people and help them reach their potential. By offering free and accessible support, the project will help young people develop important life skills, strengthen their confidence and feel better prepared for the future.
We would like to thank The National Lottery Community Fund and National Lottery players for their support in helping us bring this project to life.
